Miracles prayers still exist today. I know, because I have personally witnessed and experienced miraculous things happening to me immediately after I prayed to God for a much needed answer to my prayer. This has happened to me numerous times in my life, so much so, that I know these were not some mire coincidences.
Throughout the course of my life (some 60 years now), I have discovered that there is a special place in God where miracles flow. I'm not talking about just for people who are perfect, but for people who learn the spiritual principles from God's Word (the Holy Bible), and practice those principles routinely in their life. God Himself shared one of His greatest secrets in Hosea chapter 4 and verse 6: "My people are ruined because they don't know what's right or true. Because you've turned your back on knowledge, I've turned my back on you priests. Because you refuse to recognize the revelation of God, I'm no longer recognizing your children." (Message Bible)
Wow, that's a powerful statement from the mouth of God Himself. However, if we take a closer look at the content of that verse, I think we'll discover an amazing spiritual truth and law. In the Kings James version of the Bible, that verse says it like this: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..." God said the reason His people are destroyed or ruined, is because they lack knowledge. What is this knowledge that God could be talking about? I submit to you that it refers to the knowledge of His Word or the Holy Bible. This precious book contains many secrets to getting our prayers answered and experiencing miraculous events occurring in our lives whenever they are needed. However, please don't think that God is trying to hide these secrets from us. On the contrary, He's plainly embedded them into the Scriptures to cause us to go on a spiritual journey and seek them out.
Miracle prayers didn't just get answered in the Bible days, they are occurring in the earth even today on a daily basis. Case in point... just this past Sunday, during our Morning worship, I received a message that one of our associate pastor couples couldn't attend church service because they had been down to one car for a long time and the husband had to work. That meant the wife was stranded at home with a desire to come to church because she had already missed several weeks due to transportation issues. Since they live nearly 60 miles away, I knew they needed God to intervene on their behalf. Before I began my sermon, I asked the church to agree with me in prayer on their behalf that God would provide some immediate additional transportation to rectify their situation to allow this wife the ability to get to church. In other words, they needed a miracle, because they did not have the finances to purchase a new car.
In less than 24 hours, my wife received a phone call from that wife that she and her husband just received a phone call from her brother-in-law, who works for an automobile dealership out on the east coast and wanted to bless them with the opportunity to get a new car. Her brother-in-law volunteered to give them the down payment for the automobile, plus pay for shipping it across country to the west coast and told them to just name what payment they felt they could afford and he would write it up and they would have their automobile in a few days. Now that is a miracle prayer being answered.
As a pastor, I know that this couple deserves it because they love God and have proven faithful to the work of the ministry and they exercise God's principles daily. That's just a small miracle. I have others to share that are much greater than that, including how God physically raised me from the dead nearly 10 years ago.
Remember what Jesus said in St. Matthew chapter 19 and verse 26: “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
